A Must-Stay Hotel in Siem Reap with Exceptional Service

🏨 Today, I'm recommending a fantastic hotel—Damrei Angkor Hotel. Located on #20 Road, Wat Bo Village in Siem Reap, it boasts a prime location with easy access to Pub Street, the Night Market, and the Old Market. Various small restaurants are within walking distance, adding to the convenience. My recent stay was full of pleasant surprises, and I have to share my experience! 🌟 The hotel's location is incredibly peaceful. Despite its proximity to the bustling Pub Street and markets, it remains remarkably quiet. The hotel's decor is modern, having been renovated in 2017, so the facilities are all quite new. The reception staff were incredibly friendly, especially Mala, whose service was attentive and whose smile was genuinely sweet. The hotel's amenities are comprehensive, including a pool, a gym, and a small bar. Upon check-in, the front desk also offers restaurant promo codes for discounts on both lunch and dinner. 🛏️ The room experience was excellent. The room was spacious, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The shower and toilet were separate, a design I appreciated. The air conditioning was powerful, making it a perfect escape from the heat! One minor issue was a slightly loose electrical outlet, so a bit of caution is needed when using it. A small plate of fresh fruit was provided daily, a thoughtful touch. 🍽️ The hotel breakfast was a delightful spread of both Western and Asian options, and the black coffee was particularly good. I recommend getting up early for breakfast to enjoy the fresh fruit and delicious pastries. Outside the hotel, there's a mini Angkor Wat, perfect for photo ops. 🏙️ In terms of the surrounding area, the hotel is very close to Pub Street and the Night Market, ideal for evening strolls. The JouJoux duty-free shop is also within walking distance. If you're planning a trip to Angkor Wat, the hotel can help arrange transportation and itineraries. Mala assisted us with our arrangements, and the entire process was seamless. 🚿 As for drawbacks, the only issue was the occasional fluctuation in water pressure and temperature in the shower. Also, as mentioned, the electrical outlet was a bit loose and could use some fixing. However, these minor issues didn't detract from the overall positive experience. Overall, Damrei Angkor Hotel is fantastic and offers excellent value. It's perfect for travelers visiting Siem Reap. A friendly reminder: don't forget your swimsuit!
