Tickets can be purchased online now and you can show your ticket QR code on your phone. This is definitely the easiest option. The website says Cover up - arms, shoulders, knees. Not only to respect the temples but also to protect yourself from being in the sun all day long. Get a 3 day ticket, 1 day will be enough to see the "popular" temples, not the less visited ones. Expect to pay between $15 and $25 USD. For a daily driver (maybe more depending on your hotel resort) we had the same tuk-tuk driver every day and he was great, had cold water ready all day and took us wherever we wanted, great price for a full day of service, be prepared to tip! If you visit during the rainy season, be aware that you won't be able to see the sunrise or sunset. We had low clouds during our visit early morning and around sunset so paying extra for early/late drivers was a waste of time and money. Cambodian Riel and USD are both acceptable currencies but recent changes to move more in local currency meant USD was only accepted if it was crisp notes. ATMs to avoid counterfeiters I recommend staying in the heart of Siem Reap for cheap prices and access to restaurants, bars etc. Don't be too close to Pub Street as it can get quite noisy!
