Ta Prohm Temple_in Tomb Rider Movie

Ta Prohm temple is one of the most popular temple in Siem Reap province. Visitors never miss this place because they want to capture some photos like in Tomb Rider movie. This temple is 13km from Siem Reap town. It’s located near Bayon temple too. The temple was built by king Jayavarman VII. According to the history, this temple was built as a Buddhist monastery and university. 12,500 people lived there, including nearly 20 high priests and over 600 dancers. Over centuries, this temple was enveloped by the jungle. As you can see, giant trees had grown on the temple. Some part are broken, however this place is so amazing.
