Sri Thep Historical Park, Phetchabun Province

Si Thep Ancient City is located in Si Thep Subdistrict, Si Thep District, Phetchabun Province. Inside the ancient city, the inner part of the city has a rather rounded city plan, covering an area of ​​approximately 1.87 square kilometers (1,300 rai). There are 48 ancient sites related to Buddhism and Hinduism, as well as ancient Khmer culture. The important and large ancient sites include Khao Khlang Nai Ancient Site, Prang Si Thep Ancient Site, and Prang Song Phi Nong Ancient Site, located almost in the middle of the city, leaning toward the west. There are also more than 70 large and small ancient ponds. The historical park consists of ancient communities in the form of large cities within cities and groups of important ancient sites that are outstanding in terms of art, architecture, religion, and culture, which are very old and beautiful.
