🧚🏻‍♀️ Wat Prachakom Wanaram or Wat Pa Kung is another famous temple in Roi Et Province. Its highlight is the Borobudur Stone Pagoda, the first and only one in Thailand. ….. Inside the temple, there is a large pagoda made of natural sandstone, the first in Thailand. It was built to commemorate the 90th anniversary and 60th ordination of Phra Thep Wisutthimongkhon "Luang Pu Sri Mahawiro", a famous meditation master from the Northeast. It is modeled after the Borobudur Pagoda (Borom Phutto) on the island of Java, Indonesia. 🙏🏻 Inside the pagoda is the relics of the Lord Buddha, which are located at the center of the pagoda. The walls are carved with stories of the life of the Lord Buddha and the Vessantara Jataka, as well as the history of Luang Pu Sri and pictures of the ancestors. 🙏🏻 For anyone interested in practicing Dhamma, I highly recommend it because this place is a quiet place with beautiful nature. There is a pavilion in the middle of a pond.
