Orange Garden of Phi Bhum, Ban Mae Hu | Sukhothai

Since I came to volunteer at the Mae Hu School development camp, I helped paint the walls, made a BBL field, and gave out snacks to students. I took the opportunity to visit the village and learn about the culture. The villagers here mainly do agriculture, one of which is Orange farming 🍊 So I stopped by to visit the orange garden in Mae Hu Village by riding a villager's tractor. I stopped by the garden. The owner of the garden who stopped by was Phi Phum. He explained that the oranges are grown organically, without pesticides. They are grown naturally, one generation at a time, so that they are ready for harvesting in each period. But when I came here, the oranges were not fully ripe, they were still green. The oranges were still sour and sweet, not fully sweet. This generation of oranges will start to ripen until they are orange, and ready to be harvested again around March. They will be orange and golden yellow all over the garden. Taking pictures will be very beautiful. Then Phi Phum gave the volunteers oranges as souvenirs. They took them back to taste, one basket per person. There is no internet signal in the garden and no check-in point, but it is located in Mae Hu Village, Si Satchanalai District.
