Hiroshima 🇯🇵Teishukyo Gorge

Taishaku Gorge is located at the intersection of Higashijo Gorge in Shobara City, Hiroshima Prefecture and Jinseki Plateau Gorge in Jinseki County. It is a large canyon with a total length of 18 kilometers carved out by the Taishaku River. There are many cliffs, caves, streams, pools, rapids and waterfalls here, and the scenery is magnificent and varied. It is also the main scenic spot of Hibadogo Taishaku National Park, a national scenic spot of Japan. Here you will experience the vast karst highlands of the Kibi Plateau formed by long-term erosion of limestone terraces, walk across a huge natural bridge (Oshima Bridge) formed by erosion of stalactites and streams, and the incredible man-made lake landscape (Shenlong Lake) that is perfectly integrated with nature.
