Seeizawa Keisuke Art Museum

#2024wish Very comprehensive exhibition of Serizawa's work. As well as several rooms of his textiles and works on paper, there is a lovely little library with a view of a modern Japanese garden "room", and lots of books to leaf through. There is also a very good video to watch which shows the stencil process, and a bit about his life. He was a prolific design genius. We were luck enough to be there on a day that Serizawa's house nearby was open to visitors, which was the icing on the cake. The museum shop has a good selection of books and artifacts. In 2024, I want to visit this place again.
