I have been to Guanyinshan many times, every time it will give me a different surprise, but I never thought about why it is called Guanyinshan. I realized that I was taking a boat out of the sea and looking back. The whole mountain here is like a lying Guanyin. Yongning, in the southeast coast of Quanzhou, Fujian Province, has a 600-year-old ancient acropolis. The entire Yongning is surrounded by the sea on three sides and faces Taiwan across the sea.
