Must Visit Village in Winter Japan

In my 10 days of Winter Japan trip, there are 2 places which left the deepest impression in me. One is the snow monkey park, and the other one is this, the Shirakawa-Go village. The most interesting part of the village is the special building style, also known as Gassho-Zukuri. It kinda reminds me of how a gingerbread man’s house looks like! Being in a Japanese mountain settlement, the entire area is surrounded by mountains, and together with the snowfall from the winter season, the entire place instantly turns into a super magical winter wonderland with the snow capped mountains and traditional houses. However, winter is not the only season to visit this place, a quick Google search will show you how beautiful this place turns into, in every season! If I have the chance, I would definitely want to come back to visit here again to enjoy the beauty of this place in different seasons! Accomodations and food are available in this area as well. And lastly to travel here, it can be accessible via various public transport but just make sure to plan the route early and properly, to prevent missing any timing!
