Shinjuku is located in the heart of Tokyo, a popular shopping area for tourists. It is full of shopping malls and famous restaurants. East Shinjuku is an entertainment district, especially Kabukicho, which is the largest nightlife entertainment area in Tokyo and Japan. It is full of restaurants, nightclubs, host bars, pachinko parlors, and karaoke bars. It can be said that it is a "city that never sleeps." Another new landmark here is Cross Shinjuku Vision, a large LED advertising screen that projects 3D images that seem to actually come through the screen.
