Shinagawa, Tokyo. Konan Fureai Hiroba, a park that spreads out at the Konan exit of Shinagawa Station

If you leave Shinagawa Station via the free passage and exit the Konan Exit, you will come across Konan Fureai Hiroba. Normally it is a park (square) in front of Shinagawa Station, but it seems to be often used as a multi-purpose event space. When I visited on Sunday, July 16th, a "festival" was being held, and there were stalls selling traditional Japanese events such as yo-yo fishing, super ball scooping, shooting galleries, and ring tossing. The park was filled with food stalls selling shaved ice, beer, fried chicken, skewers, and more. It's a summer event that both children and adults can enjoy! There are many offices in the surrounding area. It is also a place with a large food and drink district.
