Shiraishikawa Ichimoku Senbonzakura is a great place to enjoy cherry blossoms in the suburbs of Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, and is selected as one of the top 100 cherry blossoms in Japan! 🎀 This is one of the must-see attractions I recommend when visiting Sendai! ✨Just like the name means, there are 1,000 cherry trees🌳 During the cherry blossom season from early to mid-April every year, more than 1,000 cherry trees are planted on both sides of the 8-kilometer-long Shiraishi River, forming a straight and spectacular cherry blossom tunnel, which is really amazing! Sendai has fewer people, and the atmosphere is peaceful.
