Rainy day bike ride around the reservoir

This small reservoir is located in Longhua district of Shenzhen close to Zhucun subway station. There is a smooth path around the whole reservoir perfect for riding bikes around. The reservoir is one of the greenest places I have seen in Shenzhen and during the rain the smell from the plants and flowers was Incredibly refreshing. The top of the reservoir dam was closed but I saw many fishing birds perched along the top. The reservoir is one of several in Longhua district that provide drinking water so it's a very important part of the city and one that can double as a place of nature and relaxation. #passionpassport
