Afternoon Tea at Thomas Cafe | BURBERRY

From the wallpaper to to the furniture, it is is a great place for photos. There are loads of mirrors, even the table is mirrored and the cafe is connected directly to the Burberry store so you can take a look around without leaving store. All cutlery and tableware were printed with BURBERRY and the design on the plates is the same as the walls. This was the first burberry afternoon cafe in Asia. I’ve actually visited twice already and both times ordered the afternoon tea set. Even though the set is for two people, there was a lot of food included. My favorite was probably the scones which were served with clotted cream, strawberry jam and gooseberry elderflower jam and lemon curd. The beetroot macarons were interesting…I have never had salty macarons before so it was a little shocking. The staff were super friendly and hospitable and advised us to eat the cakes on the cake stand first before they melted.
