I chose the Grand Hyatt Shenzhen for this flash trip to Shenzhen. As a veteran five-star, it is really one of the best in Lo Wu business district. It is best for shopping, crossing Hong Kong or business short-term stay. The floor-to-ceiling windows look out to a modern skyline, every day I feel like I'm in a magazine, very chill! Speaking of the hotel itself, the location is unbeatable - Bao'an South Road, downstairs is Wanxiang City, two steps from the subway station, Shenzhen Station and Lo Wu Gate are nearby. There are all kinds of restaurants, cafes and small bars around. It's super convenient to go shopping for supper in the evening. Special recommendation if returning to Hong Kong frequently, here really can not be beat. Entering the room, the space is really big, there is still room to move around for a few large pieces of luggage, it won't be cramped. Floor-to-ceiling large glass, morning cup of tea looking at the city skylight, or like I take a "bubble tea + city" photo, strong feeling. The bed is very comfortable and I sleep firmly enough. The bathroom facilities are very new, the water pressure is enough, so it's easy to take a shower. Some room types also have smart home equipment, which is pretty effortless to use – bringing kids or business users will be a surprise. The service is kept to five-star standards, the employees I met are very kind and helpful, immediately using WeChat to help handle some details (for example: early check-in or dawd away for a while promised). Check-in and check-out are quick and feel professional. The breakfast at the Executive Lounge was really varied, with Chinese dim sum and hot congee very tasty – perfect for early rushers/meetings. In terms of facilities, the swimming pool is high in the sky and endless, playing until dark to see the night view can not leave. 24-hour gym, restaurant choices, not out of the hotel to enjoy several meals. The lobby often changes the seasonal floral arrangements, which makes it feel fresh every time you come. The only little vignetting – some of the amenities in the room have a slight sense of age, however the overall impact is not great. The elevator design may take a while, but compared to the whole accommodation experience is a minor issue. Booking Tip: Early booking is recommended, especially around holidays/festivals. Most rooms include breakfast, which is very good value for money. For unbeatable city views you can book a high-rise room type. Itinerary recommendation: Stay in Lo Wu area is very convenient, it is recommended to reserve half a day for shopping in Wanxiang City, then go to Lo Wu Cultural Park for a walk, at night back to the hotel swimming pool to take a lit version of the city panorama is worth it! If you have plenty of time, take the subway a few stops straight down to Futian and Nanshan, and it's easy to get back to your hotel even if you play until late at night. #Shenzhen Hotel Recommendation #Urban View Room #Lo Wu Food #Business Travel First Choice #Shenzhen Holiday
