This time, I stayed at the Shenzhen Kapok Hotel. The room type was a double room with an open-plan bathroom, which felt spacious and quite stylish. The overall feel was more like a boutique, apartment-style retreat, rather than the cold, impersonal feel of a traditional business hotel. The room's extra-long layout, extending from the desk to the sofa and bed, is perfect for traveling while working remotely. The bathroom features a semi-open design with a glass partition, allowing a view of the guest room from the shower area. This design is both stylish and allows for flexibility with curtains. The welcome fruit and bottled water were thoughtful touches, and the sofa area looked like a truly comfortable place to relax. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered views of a school playground and city skyscrapers, instantly identifying the location as Shenzhen, giving it a "small rest stop in the city" feel. #NovemberDestinations2025
