Considered the oldest park in the whole Shenzhen, Zhongshan park is screaming beauty, serenity, and history... It is founded and built in the year 1925. Zhongshan or commonly known as Sun Yat Sen is a well known figure in China. And a lot of parks around the country named after him, this one included. This park has a big tribute to the man, as it has the biggest head figure of Zhongshan in China. The 30,000 square meters artificial (man-made) lake is the focal point of the park. A large green area for picnics or for relaxing kite-flying, statues and figures scattered all over the park. Colorful flowers and tall trees and luscious greens covers the entire park. A very charming place to unwind and relax. Entrance fee is absolutely FREE! Visit it.
