This hotel in Shenzhen is breathtakingly beautiful 👀|||I recently visited The St. Regis Shenzhen Qianhai OCT, designed by André Fu, and it was absolutely worth the trip! The moment you step into the hotel, the "Tale of Two Cities" design theme captivates you. The classical luxury of the 1904 St. Regis New York blends seamlessly with the modern vibrancy of Shenzhen, with thoughtful details everywhere—every corner is Instagram-worthy. The 8-meter-tall bronze octagonal pavilion in the lobby merges Eastern and Western architectural aesthetics, resembling a golden birdcage. The marble mosaic in the elevator lobby seems to whisper stories of Wall Street, and even the color scheme of the tissue boxes hides playful nods to the two cities, creating an artistic ambiance that’s simply mesmerizing! The dining and bar areas are equally distinctive. On the 34th floor, the Chinese restaurant Yan Ting boasts a 270-degree outdoor terrace with stunning views. Enjoying exquisite Cantonese cuisine while overlooking the cityscape is a feast for both the eyes and the soul. The St. Regis Bar exudes vintage charm, with the "Dream of the Hometown" mural on the walls paired with signature cocktails—sipping a drink here is pure bliss, romantic and relaxing. Though I didn’t stay overnight, even during the tour, I could feel the understated luxury. The rooms are adorned with exquisite furniture and decor, and the views of the bay area’s skyline are simply unbeatable. Imagine waking up to such a breathtaking scene—pure happiness! However, I noticed some furniture pieces are a bit small, like side tables barely fitting a cup, and narrow sofa armrests that aren’t very practical. Thankfully, the high ceilings and open layout keep the space airy and far from claustrophobic. The hotel’s spa and fitness facilities are also top-notch—I’ll definitely be back to try them!
