The Kapok Hotel Shenzhen Houhai, filled with floral and woody fragrances

During the season when kapok flowers bloom in the south, I came to Shekou Port in Shenzhen to take a cruise to Vietnam, so I chose to stay at the Kapok Hotel in Houhai, Nanshan District. The Kapok Hotel brand has always been a favorite among hotel enthusiasts. The Kapok Hotel Shenzhen Houhai was designed by master designer Tony Chi (whom I was fortunate to meet in Shanghai). The famous book bar cafe on the first floor is particularly well-known worldwide. As a high-end hotel hidden in the city, it offers an artistic atmosphere filled with the fragrance of books, while providing a peaceful escape from the urban bustle. I absolutely love it! I checked in to a cityview bathtub suite with strong fashion elements. In the tranquil smoky blue decor, a touch of kapok red dazzled both my eyes and heart. Pleasant fragrances permeate the air... High-quality bedding and sleeping space, wooden floors and black and white tiles, complete set of Jo Malone toiletries, aged Pu'er tea - everything in the room creates comfort and contentment. The artistic towel arrangements, welcome fruits, and thoughtful cards demonstrate the hotel's attentive service. The Kapok Pavilion Restaurant on the third floor offers a sumptuous breakfast buffet and local Chinese lunch. I particularly enjoy the beautiful outdoor garden and the Chinese courtyard with flowing water. The fragrance of pomelo flowers is refreshing and delightful! The first-floor book bar cafe and indoor/outdoor bars are stylish, and also serve as the base for famous bartender Jin Zhonglei (Century in a Cup author). It is said to be the most popular place among Shenzhen locals for entertaining guests. The beautiful gym and self-service laundry room, along with smart robots, attract many discerning guests. It's truly fortunate to encounter such a beautiful and charming boutique hotel during my journey.
