| Shenzhen's most beautiful seaside walk route (with photo spots). 🌈This season in Shenzhen, hiking by the sea is the most comfortable. This time, I unlocked the super beautiful "Xiaomeisha Seaside Plank Road" in Yantian, Shenzhen. Strolling between the mountains and the sea, I checked in at the internet-famous Beizaijiao Lighthouse and discovered the super stunning aerial corridor viewing angle! It's free, with few people and beautiful scenery, and every photo is a blockbuster~ 📍Route planning (P2-P3 has a route map) Xiaomeisha Subway Station➡️Xiaomeisha Plank Road ➡️Beizaijiao Lighthouse ➡️Wanghai Library➡️Aerial Corridor Viewing Platform 1️⃣Starting point: Exit C of Xiaomeisha Station on Metro Line 8. Follow the navigation and walk for about 15 minutes to the Yantian Coastal Greenway Viewing Platform, which is the entrance to the plank road (this section of the road is under construction, dusty, and difficult to walk). 2️⃣Xiaomeisha Plank Road: The plank road is built along the mountain and by the sea. Beneath your feet are snow-white waves lapping against the reefs, and in the distance, the seawater gradually changes from light blue to a deep "jelly blue." Every photo is cinematic! 3️⃣Beizaijiao Lighthouse: After walking for about 3 kilometers, you will reach the end point. The red and white lighthouse stands on the edge of the cliff, contrasting sharply with the blue sea and sky, as if you are in a manga scene! This place is also known as the "end of Shenzhen." 📸The lighthouse has a 100% photogenic rate. 4️⃣Wanghai Library: Exit the plank road from the Beizaijiao West Viewing Platform, and you will find the Wanghai Library, which is transformed from shipping containers. The top-floor viewing platform overlooks Xiaomeisha Crescent Bay. 5️⃣Aerial Corridor Viewing Platform: Walk eastward along the road from Wanghai Library for about 2 kilometers to reach the internet-famous Aerial Corridor Viewing Platform. The best photo spot is when a person stands on the curved staircase and takes pictures from the viewing platform downwards. It's really photogenic (below the corridor is the beach, where you can play in the water. There are few people, the water is clear, and the sand is fine, but swimming is prohibited). 📷 Photography guide 🔸Lighthouse: Take a low-angle shot from the side to avoid crowds, or use the reefs as the foreground to highlight the solitude of the lighthouse. 🔸Plank road and sea: Shoot from a low angle to create a sense of extension, or capture the dynamic moment of waves crashing against the reefs. 🔸Aerial corridor: Stand high and take a bird's-eye view of the curves of the plank road and the blue sea, or take a picture with your back to the sea for a full sense of atmosphere. 🔔Travel tips: ✅There are no restrooms or vending machines on the 3-kilometer route from the Xiaomeisha subway entrance to the lighthouse. You can only find them after exiting the plank road and climbing a flight of stairs to the Wanghai Library. ✅The UV rays by the sea are strong, and you can get sunburned even on cloudy days. Remember to apply sunscreen or wear a hat. ✅It's about a 2-kilometer walk from Wanghai Library to the Aerial Corridor Viewing Platform. If you don't want to walk, you can scan and rent an electric scooter (CNY 30/hour) or take a passenger electric scooter. The driver asked me for CNY 15 for two people (but I didn't take it). ✅The Aerial Corridor Viewing Platform is not as beautiful as it looks in the photos. You might be slightly disappointed when you go there. However, the seaside scenery is beautiful.
