Head to a breezy place—Guanhu Beach has the right vibe.

Shenzhen's Guanhu fishing village is truly tiny, with a small beach—just the right size. Mountains surround this little area, and the alleys lead straight to the sea. The feel is so good. Cafes, seafood restaurants, and homestays line the streets and alleys. Even on a Saturday in March, there didn't seem to be too many tourists. I worry about too many tourists and overcrowding, but I also worry about not enough tourists leading to the decline of facilities. For now, everything is just right. There are plenty of parking spaces, so no need to worry. It's about 12 CNY for around 3 hours. I'm not sure if there are different rates for peak and off-seasons.
