Shenzhen | A seaside hotel with stunning sunsets, perfect for a trip with 60-year-old parents

I've always wanted to take my parents on a vacation to Shenzhen. I looked at a lot of hotels online 🏨 and finally chose the MIYUE Secret Wild Reef Oceanview Hotel Shenzhen Guanhu. We arrived on Sunday afternoon, and there were quite a few people there. But the hotel's attentive service made the trip a wonderful experience. Before check in: The staff contacted us to ask about our estimated arrival time and turned on the air conditioning in our room in advance. They also sent us detailed directions to the hotel. Upon arrival: The staff helped us with our luggage. As soon as we entered the room, the stunning ocean view took our breath away. The panoramic ocean view impressed my parents as well. The toilet and shower are separate, which I think is great. There's also a large screen and a bathtub 🛁. The overall room layout and soft furnishings are exquisite. There's a small basket next to the bed. When I opened it, I found it full of thoughtful amenities, including two pairs of earplugs, two packs of steaming eye masks, a plug-in mosquito repellent, and a three-pronged charging cable. The hotel restaurant is also highly recommended. It has three floors, all decorated in white. You can enjoy a stunning ocean view while dining. It feels as comfortable and beautiful as being abroad. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, and sweet soup for bedtime 🍳. My mom especially loved the breakfast. The hotel also offers a super thoughtful service: You can book a photographer 📷. Even if you're traveling solo, you can get amazing photos. My family and I took a family portrait and some individual photos. The restaurant and the hotel surroundings are great for taking pictures. Around the hotel: The hotel is located halfway up a hill, and there's a small path leading down to the beach. The sand on the beach is very fine and clean. Many people were catching crabs by the reefs. My mom joined in the fun and had a great time. Some people even caught a whole bag of crabs 🦀. Overall impression: The staff are mostly young people, very friendly and responsive. Our room was on the third floor, and the adjacent rooms all had balconies. The rooms are very sunny and face the ocean directly. If you want to take your parents or friends on a luxurious seaside vacation, this is definitely the first choice 💪.
