Have you ever felt a sudden urge to visit a vibrant city, to unveil its mysterious and charming veil, all because of a song? The lyrics of "Story of Spring" – "In 1979, that was a spring, an old man drew a circle on the south coast of China, mythically rising cities, miraculously gathering golden mountains" – touched me with its depiction of vigorous development and the dawn of hope. With a longing for Shenzhen, in March, I set foot on this charming land, embarking on a spring exploration. Now, I'm sharing this travel guide with you. 🚌Transportation Guide ✈️Airplane: After arriving at Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport, airport buses are available to various bustling areas of the city. You can easily reach the heart of the city by transferring to a bus or taking a taxi. The subway network is also well-developed, providing quick access to the core areas. 🚄High-speed Rail: Shenzhen North Station and Futian High-speed Railway Station have frequent train services connecting to many cities across the country. Buses and subways are seamlessly connected outside the stations, making travel efficient and worry-free. 🚌City Transportation: Shenzhen's buses and subways are readily available, covering almost all attractions. You can also ride shared bikes through the city, feeling the breeze on your face. If you want to visit slightly further scenic spots such as Dapeng Peninsula, you can take a special tourist bus or a shared car to enjoy your trip. 🗺Itinerary Day 1: Lianhuashan Park - Civic Center - Shenzhen Museum - Futian COCO Park In the morning, visit Lianhuashan Park, climb to the mountaintop square, pay respects to the Deng Xiaoping statue, overlook the bustling scene of Futian District, and feel the source of vitality of this booming city. After lunch nearby, head to the Civic Center to admire this modern architectural landmark and learn about Shenzhen's urban planning and government services. Then, visit the Shenzhen Museum, which houses a rich and diverse collection, showcasing Shenzhen's dramatic transformation from a small fishing village to an international metropolis, embarking on a feast of knowledge. In the evening, visit Futian COCO Park, a complex integrating shopping, dining, and entertainment, to experience Shenzhen's urban nightlife. Try the Chaoshan beef hot pot, where tender beef is swirled in clear bone broth for a few seconds, dipped in Shacha sauce, and enjoyed for its incredible flavor. Day 2: Window of the World - Happy Valley (optional) - OCT-LOFT Creative Culture Park In the morning, rush to the Window of the World, traveling through famous miniature landscapes from around the world, as if on a one-day trip around the globe, experiencing the architectural charm and cultural customs of different countries. If you like exciting amusement park rides, you can go to Happy Valley after the morning tour to experience thrilling rides such as roller coasters and freefall towers. In the afternoon, visit OCT-LOFT Creative Culture Park, which has been transformed from an old factory. It is full of artistic atmosphere. Stroll through creative shops, admire street art, and feel Shenzhen's artistic vitality. Day 3: Dapeng Peninsula - Jiaochangwei - Yangmeikeng - Return Trip In the morning, head to Dapeng Peninsula and arrive at Jiaochangwei first. There are various characteristic homestays here, colorful and distributed along the beach. Choose a homestay you like, check in, and then stroll along the beach, enjoying the leisure of the sun and sand. At noon, enjoy a seafood feast, such as steamed grouper and boiled shrimp, all cooked to preserve their original flavors. In the afternoon, go to Yangmeikeng to admire the beautiful coastline. As sung in "Story of Spring," this place is full of legendary colors, developing vigorously from scratch. Strolling in the park, touring the Window of the World, having fun on Dapeng Peninsula, and the tempting food, all made me completely absorbed. Walking on the streets of Shenzhen, it felt like time slowed down. I was immersed in this unique Shenzhen style, reluctant to leave, just wanting time to stop and savor this beauty. 🍜Food Recommendations 1. Chaoshan Beef Hot Pot: Featuring freshly sliced beef, a sweet soup base, and Shacha sauce, it offers a tender and delicious taste. 2.
