Shenzhen | Lixin Lake Park photo tips Lixin Lake Park in Fuyong, Bao'an is a must-see. Lixin Lake, also known as Lixin Lake Reservoir or Fuyong Reservoir, is located in the central area of Fuyong Subdistrict, Bao'an District, Shenzhen. It covers an area of about 1.9 square kilometers, with a water area of 1.2 square kilometers. The lake is adjacent to the vast Pearl River Estuary. The park now has a greenway around the lake, so you can see the Lixin Lake Greenway sign at the west entrance of the park. The greenway around Lixin Lake is 8.8 km long, with staggered boardwalks. Walking along the boardwalk or running or cycling on the greenway is a great experience. We brought our kids, so we only walked around a small area near the west entrance. The scenery is still good, with winding boardwalks in the forest. The only downside is that there are few places to rest in the park, with few benches, so you basically have to keep walking along the boardwalk. When we got to Phoenix Chess Academy, we had to sit on the ground or on the steps to rest. Also, the road ahead is not close to the water, so you can see the lake from a distance but can't get close to it. We had to walk to Phoenix Chess Academy and climb to the top to see the lake from afar. The scenery is really nice. We didn't have enough time and the kids were tired, so we only visited a small area. If you have time, you can ride a bike around the lake. The scenery should be nice. There are many attractions around the lake on Baidu Maps, such as Simple Book Bar, Peninsula Flower Sea, Lakeside Platform, Children's Park, Sports Park, Waterfront Flower Street, Fuwan Corridor, and Fudi Flower Steps. There are many attractions on the other side of the lake. We will visit them next time.
