OCT East Shenzhen: A Dreamy New Year Adventure for Families

The Spring Festival is just around the corner, and the desire to take the kids on a trip is growing stronger. 😍 After much searching, we finally unlocked the treasure trove of family travel at OCT East Shenzhen, enjoying 2 days and 1 night of fun! 🏨 Hotel: As soon as we stepped into the lobby of the Black Forest Gaiety Hotel, we were greeted by a strong New Year atmosphere. We were instantly enveloped in the festive spirit! After checking in, we opened the door to the family suite, and the kids cheered with excitement. 🎉 The room's slide and bunk bed were like a dreamland for the kids. They couldn't wait to climb up and slide down, laughing all the way. As a mom, my heart was filled with joy. 💖 🌳 Day 1 Afternoon Activities: 🏠 The hotel's carefully prepared New Year "Miao" event was a delightful surprise for this trip! The kids were immersed in making various traditional handicrafts. Their focused little eyes 🧐 and serious little expressions were just too cute! We also joined the "Jungle Adventure" tour. This was a new event for the Spring Festival, and the kids bravely tackled each challenge. From the swaying suspension bridge to the difficult climbing net, they took each step with determination. Seeing their courage and growth filled me with pride. 💪 🍽 Dinner and Magic Show: In the evening, we enjoyed a delicious Western meal at the Gaiety All-Day Dining Restaurant. The warm lighting, delicious food 🍚, and thoughtful children's menu made the kids eat with gusto. After dinner, the magic show started on time. 🪄 The amazing performances left us in awe. The props that appeared out of thin air, the floating objects, and the human transformations were all incredible! The kids were so excited that their little faces turned red. 👶 Their eyes sparkled with curiosity and surprise. The intangible cultural heritage iron flower and flying phoenix performances brought the New Year atmosphere to a climax. The iron flowers bloomed in the night sky with brilliant sparks. 🔥 The flying phoenix 🐦‍🔥 was magnificent. 🌳 Day 2 Activities: After breakfast, we boarded the forest train, as if we had traveled to a movie scene. The train slowly traveled through the tree-lined tunnel, with sunlight filtering through the leaves and casting dreamy light spots on us. During the 50-minute journey, the kids leaned against the window, admiring the scenery outside and sharing their discoveries with me. 🏞 Daxiagu Valley's Stunning Sunset: We arrived at Daxiagu Valley and took the cable car up. The beautiful scenery of the entire scenic area unfolded before us, with green mountains, clear waters, pavilions, and towers in full view. It was truly amazing! Little tips: Staying at the hotel also gives you free access to Yunhai Park and Dahuaxing Temple. ❤️ This family New Year trip to OCT East Shenzhen has deepened our parent-child relationship.
