The red main color and Christmas decorations give it a Disney feel. All the staff were wearing red dresses. I don’t know if it was intentional or to cater to the need for seasonal clothing in the Christmas style, but it just felt great. Upon arrival at the hotel, a concierge helped to open the door and take the luggage, and then sent me to the front desk for check-in. The front desk was very enthusiastic and professional, and quickly checked me in. I was informed that the room could not be cleaned, but the executive lounge was still open. In addition to breakfast on the G floor, afternoon tea and happy hour were available in the lounge. At the same time, because our room included breakfast, the welcome gift included two drink coupons and a luxurious large fruit plate. After checking in, we arranged for the concierge to deliver our luggage to the room. After we declined, we took it to the elevator. This can be said to be a benchmark service. After arriving at the room, there was no sufficient drinking water prepared as mentioned before, which was the amount for the period of stay. I booked a room for 3 days, but found that there were only 4 bottles. I went out in the afternoon and came back to the room at night, but there was no big fruit plate. There was only a plate of fruit that was already placed in the room when I arrived, which included two bananas, an orange and an apple. The room looks a bit old, and the details are quite mottled. Fortunately, the bedding is very comfortable, which is enough for people who basically play outside during the day and come back to sleep. The public area is far more thoughtful and luxurious than the interior design. I don’t know if it’s because the interior design is too old or because it is really old, but it gives people a feeling that it is far less surprising than before entering the room. The public areas are very surprising, whether it is the lobby, the elevator, or the decorations in some corners, they all exude elegance without being awkward. Before coming, I received a text message in advance saying that the room could not be cleaned, and that sufficient drinking water would be prepared. I had to pack up the garbage and leave it outside the door. I did not receive a reply after replying to the text message, so I thought that the stay experience would not be very good, and I even debated whether to change hotels. But in the end, because the hotel we wanted to book had already been scheduled for the later itinerary, and because the hotel has a great location and is difficult to replace by other hotels, we did not make any changes. The location is very good for travelers or short-term tourists. It is within walking distance to three 5A-level scenic spots: Window of the World, China Folk Village, and Happy Valley. This is the main reason for choosing this hotel and staying for 3 consecutive days. After checking in, I did feel the disadvantage of insufficient staff. Although some things were promised very actively, I also experienced some twists and turns, such as the water and fruit mentioned above, and when I called the service center, I always had to wait for a long time before someone answered. Overall, it is far inferior to the Dameisha InterContinental. It may also be that the experience I had at Dameisha InterContinental Hotel was so profound and excellent that there was indeed a gap when I moved here. Anyway, I live here so that I can go out and play nearby. I am almost never in the room during the day, so I don't have too many complaints.
