The sea in Shenzhen is the biggest surprise of this summer

I stayed in Shenzhen for a week, and it was raining all the time. Finally, when the weather cleared up, I definitely had to go to the beach to enjoy the sun. Initially, I just wanted to let the kids play in the water and didn't have high expectations for the scenery. Unexpectedly, the blue sea and sky, along with the waves, brought us a huge surprise! To avoid the crowded popular spots like Dameisha, Xiaomeisha, and Jidiao Bay, we chose the relatively less known Jinsha Bay. There is an entrance to the beach from the Marriott Hotel on Jinsha Bay (the beach is a public beach, not a private one of the hotel, but it is not very crowded). However, because the daytime in Shenzhen is too hot and there is no shade on the beach, we dared not go out during the day. We could only enjoy the beach in the evening and morning. The sand at Jinsha Bay is not very fine (rather coarse), but it is very clean, and the coastline is long enough. Due to the steep slope of the coast, the waves are quite high, making it difficult to swim in the sea. But if you like to 'ride the waves,' this place is perfect. My child, Yuwan, especially loves 'fighting with the waves,' getting pushed onto the beach by the waves repeatedly and then walking back into the sea to wait for the big waves... He plays like this for hours every day, and his happiness is beyond words. I heard that there are many beautiful beaches in Shenzhen. I have to say, I am quite envious of friends in Shenzhen. They can drive for one or two hours to see the sea and enjoy the fun brought by the waves (and most of the seaside parks are open to the public for free)!
