The Prajna Zen Temple, located beside Yabao Park, is a sanctuary where one can feel a sense of inner peace. The temple was reopened in September 2015 on the foundation of the original Pangu Temple, making it relatively new compared to other temples in Shenzhen, and it attracts fewer visitors. Currently, the temple can be accessed without an appointment or an entrance fee, and it's just a few minutes' walk from the Yabao subway station. In front of the temple gate is the Yabao Reservoir, which boasts beautiful scenery. Along the path from the main entrance to the main hall, there is information about the temple's restoration history and the external exchanges of Buddhism in Shenzhen, offering insights to both believers and non-believers. The Zen Temple features the Hall of Heavenly Kings, the Mahavira Hall, the Reclining Buddha Hall, and also enshrines deities such as the God of Wealth and the Earth God. The central courtyard has Arhat pines and a pagoda, both intricately designed and exquisitely shaped.
