Shenzhen Dapeng Bay Dongshan Temple was first built during the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty, more than 600 years ago. It was destroyed, but was rebuilt and reopened in 2012. The architecture of the temple is rich in Lingnan style, with yellow glazed tile eaves and colorful beams and columns, and it also retains the solemnity of a century-old temple. The temple is open to the public free of charge.
