Shennong Culture.

Shennong Altar Scenic Area, located in Xiaodangyang, 6 kilometers south of Muyu Town, is a cultural scenic area that highlights the search for roots and ancestor worship, with Shennong culture as its connotation and the achievements and merits of the Shennong ancestors and the thousand-year-old fir king as its expression. It is composed of Shennong Altar, Thousand-Year-Old Fir King, Ancient Botanical Garden, Materia Medica Garden, Solar Terms Garden, Shennong Tea Garden and other tourist functional areas. The Shennong Altar is currently the largest altar in China for offering sacrifices to Emperor Yan Shennong. It is built according to the mountain and has a magnificent momentum. A 1,200-year-old iron fir tree is regarded as a sacred tree by the locals.
