Kaminoko Pond is a pond located in the forest near Lake Mashu in the southern part of Kiyosato Town in eastern Hokkaido. From June to August, on a clear day, Kaminoko Pond reflects the color of the sky and turns cobalt blue. The white sand on the bottom of the pond emphasizes the blue color. In late autumn and winter, the pond turns indigo blue, and in winter it can only be accessed by snowshoes, so if you're looking for a photogenic shot, we recommend visiting in the summer.
