Shen Garden, Shaoxing

Shen Garden: Located at No. 318 Luxun Middle Road, Yuecheng District, Shaoxing City, this was a private garden of a wealthy Shen family during the Southern Song Dynasty, and is a Song-style garden. The entire garden is divided into the North Garden (historical site area), South Garden, and East Garden. The garden has a profound cultural connotation. In the 21st year of Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty, Lu You and Tang Wan, who had been forced to separate, met by chance in Shen Garden. Lu You inscribed the poem "Chai Tou Feng · Red Crisp Hand" on the garden wall, and Tang Wan saw it and responded, making it a timeless masterpiece.
