At the small waterfall, go right and take the boardwalk down the mountain. The road is in good condition. 2⃣Route: Ancient Trail Entrance - Dawn Redwood Forest - Entrance (for families with children over 6) ✅Distance: 4.6 km loop ✅Elevation: 343 m ✅Time: 2-3 hours ✔Guide: The first half of the route is the same. After passing the reservoir, turn right and go around the road. At the three-way intersection at the pavilion on the opposite side, go left and take the Xuedouling Loop. The whole route is steps, no dirt roads. 🚗Starting point for routes 1 and 2: Drive and navigate to [Shaoxing Xuedouling Ancient Trail] on Gaode. Park in the village for 10 yuan. 3⃣Route: Zhibukeng Village - An Village - Zhibukeng Village (suitable for frequent hikers) ✅Distance: 5.7 km loop ✅Elevation: 384 m ✔Guide: The second half goes through a Chinese torreya forest and dirt roads, which are slippery with moss and not suitable for children. 🚗Starting point: Drive and navigate to [Shaoxing Zhibukeng Village] on Gaode. 4⃣Route: No mountain climbing (suitable for all ages) 📍Navigate to: Shaoxing Keqiao An Village ✔Guide: You need to drive a section of mountain road. After reaching the village, walk in the direction of Xuedouling Reservoir, and you will see the cedar forest. ✔The ancient trail is mostly steps, so bring knee pads and trekking poles. ✔Remember to take your trash with you and leave no trace.
