Goose Pool It is said that Wang Xizhi loved geese and incorporated their elegance into his calligraphy. The two characters on the Goose Pool Stele are said to be written by both Wang Xizhi and his son, Wang Xianzhi. There are also several white geese here, which are very cute. 2. Lan Ting Stele Pavilion The characters "Lan Ting" on the stele were written by Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty. 3. Cursive Stream and Wine Cup A recreation of the scene of the Cursive Stream and Wine Cup in 353 AD. 4. Wang Youjun Temple Built during the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, with white walls and black tiles, surrounded by a lotus pond. There is a pool in the temple, and a pavilion in the pool. This is a great place to take photos. 5. Imperial Stele Pavilion Also known as the Ancestor and Grandson Stele, the front side is engraved with Emperor Kangxi's calligraphy of the Preface to the Orchid Pavilion Collection, and the north side is engraved with a seven-character poem written by Emperor Qianlong during his visit to Lan Ting. 6. Eighteen Water Jars by the Pool Based on the story of Wang Xizhi teaching his son, Wang Xianzhi, how to write. Visitors can experience writing with a brush dipped in water. 7. Chihuai Bridge There are many calligraphy banners hanging on the bridge, which is a great place to take photos. You can also take a long shot of Lan Ting Creek from the bridge. 8. Tianzhang Temple The ruins of Tianzhang Temple, originally the Tianzhang Pavilion, where poems and essays by emperors were stored.
