The island is very small, only separated by a river from Shanwei city, but Xiaodao Village is indeed an island worthy of its name. It is surrounded by water and has no connection to the land. To this day, there is no bridge leading to the island. Even if the closest place to the land is only a hundred meters away, only two or three ferries can be used to carry the island villagers and tourists back and forth. The ferries can go in and out. The island is free and is the only mode of transportation to and from the island. There are no cars on the island, there seems to be no roads, and there are no traffic lights. Self-driving vehicles can only park on the side of the ferry road. Fortunately, if you park on the roadside here, it seems that the traffic police will not come to issue tickets and deduct points.
