Getting There - Take a bus no. 12 It only operates at 2PM-16PM. In the morning you could visit the SongzanLin Monastery until 1-1.30PM. You can take a bus no. 3 (2rmb/wechat scan) directly from SongzanLin Monastery, and get off at 红太阳广场。At that stop, you will see bus no. 12. Bus no. 12 will go around the grassland and lake. You can make a stop whenever you want to. I didn't get off the bus until the last stop (last picture), because the scenery was meh. At the last stop, the driver will stop for 15 min. You can get off and walk around a bit, you don't need to pay another 2rmb when you get in again. The whole bus ride to go around will take about an hour. Lastly, the bus will drive back to the North Gate. Or you can make a stop whenever you want. Just tell the driver "zhe li xia che" FYI : To visit Napa Grassland and Lake is FREE.
