Come experience the sunrise over the Golden Mountain at Meili Snow Mountain. The best time to see the sunrise at Meili Snow Mountain is from November to May each year. Route A Pickup starts at 3:40 AM, departing from Dukezong Ancient Town around 4:00 AM. Around 6:30 AM, stop at the Stargazing Platform to watch and photograph the starry sky (stay for 10-20 minutes). Arrive at Wunongding Viewing Platform at 7:40-7:50 AM to wait for the sunrise. At 8:10 AM, watch the sunrise over the Golden Mountain at Meili Snow Mountain. Finish viewing by 8:30-8:40 AM, then head to the "One Tree" scenic spot in Meili for photos. Around 9:20 AM, proceed to the next stop, the ridge of Baima Snow Mountain, driving along the scenic old National Highway 214 to the ridge to admire the snow-capped mountains. After 20-30 minutes of self-guided photo time, descend the mountain. Return via Baima Snow Mountain U-shaped Valley, Baima Snow Mountain Viewing Platform, Jinsha River Moon Bay, Red Army Long March Helong Bridge, Napa Lake panoramic viewing platform, and back to Shangri-La. Arrive in Shangri-La around 3:00-4:00 PM, with each stop lasting about 10-20 minutes. (For Route A, the driver does not rush; the pace of stops depends on the guests' schedule and preferences, prioritizing the guest with the tightest schedule.) Route B Pickup starts at 3:40 AM, departing from Dukezong Ancient Town around 4:00 AM. Around 6:30 AM, stop at Baima Viewing Platform to photograph the starry sky. Arrive at Wunongding Viewing Platform around 7:50 AM. At 8:10 AM, watch the sunrise and the Golden Mountain at Meili Snow Mountain. Return at 8:30 AM, passing scenic spots including Jinsha River Moon Bay, Red Army Long March Helong Bridge, and Napa Lake panoramic viewing platform. Arrive in Shangri-La between 12:00 and 1:00 PM.
