No one told me Bottomless Lake would be this stunning in winter!!

All photos are unedited, straight from my Fujifilm camera 📷. If you're visiting Shangri-La, set aside a day for Bottomless Lake. I highly recommend it!!! As someone who grew up in Guangdong where it doesn't snow, I was truly awestruck! 🥹 Remember to bring snacks! Pack a thermos with hot water for instant noodles 🍜. Bring bread 🍞 (you can share some with the squirrels 🐿️). Instant noodles are 15 yuan a cup at Bottomless Lake, or you can bring your own and pay 5 yuan for hot water. They also seem to have coffee ☕️ and other things, but I didn't pay close attention. ⏰ We left the north gate of Dukezong Ancient Town at 8:40 am. At 11:00 am, we arrived at a picturesque spot perfect for photos (P4, P12). The driver stopped and gave us time to take pictures. After about half an hour, we continued our journey. We reached Bottomless Lake at 12:00 pm. My friend experienced a bit of altitude sickness, and I'm not a frequent hiker, so we chose the easiest route around the lake. It was mostly flat, taking about 2 to 3 hours to complete. Not too challenging, just very slippery. We started back around 3:00 pm and arrived back in the ancient town at 5:30 pm. The round-trip transportation cost 150 yuan per person. I think it's definitely worth a visit. Pros: Beautiful scenery, few people. Cons: Poor road conditions. I hope to visit Bottomless Lake again in the summer to see its different side. ˉ
