Outer Shanghai: There’s Plenty to See

Although it’s a pain to get there from Downtown, the area around Dishui Lake is really pretty for a seaside stroll in summer. I recommend renting a car or going with a friend who has one. You can get there on Line 16, but everything is very spread out and you really need a car or at least a bike to get around. Enjoy some time on the far side of the lake.
