Shanghai Disneyland

I believe those who claim Disneyland is just for kids are not entirely correct. Disneyland is for anyone who wants to relive their childhood. Therefore, I HIGHLY recommend it to all adults. 😉 📌 The Disney theme park in Shanghai is both authentically Disney and distinctly Chinese, boasting engineering marvels like the Enchanted Storybook Castle—the tallest, largest, and most interactive Disney castle in the world. 📌 I've been fortunate enough to visit several Disneylands in China (Hong Kong and Shanghai), and I can say there are differences, of course, but overall, the decorations, actors, and atmosphere are all there. The sense of celebration and childhood stays with you throughout your visit. There aren't many scary rides; most are spectacular and mesmerizing. 📌 Here are a few tips if you plan to visit Shanghai Disneyland: 1. Download the official app. It includes a map, making navigation much easier, and you can also check the wait times for attractions online, saving you a lot of time. If you have an iPhone, change your region to China to download the app. 2. The Pirates of the Caribbean attraction is a must-see—absolutely stunning and futuristic. 3. I highly recommend the TRON coaster. It completely immerses you in the movie's atmosphere. These attractions are designed specifically for adults. 4. Reserve your spot for the evening show at least 30 minutes in advance. Otherwise, you'll end up standing far from the castle and will only catch a glimpse of the main show. Trust me, it's worth seeing. 5. The park has long lines, with waits of up to 1.5 hours for a single attraction. Be sure to purchase a Fast Pass. Even with it, you might still face some queues, but only about 15 minutes at most. 📌 And the most important question: if you're planning a trip to China and deciding which Disneyland to visit, my subjective opinion is Hong Kong. While Shanghai Disneyland is much larger in size, Hong Kong Disneyland has more attractions geared toward adults. Plus, the light show at the end of the day is far more impressive in Hong Kong.
