Shanghai Jing'an St. Regis Hotel, Social Breakfast

Social is the buffet restaurant at Shanghai Jing'an St. Regis Hotel. Apart from breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in a semi-buffet style 🥳 Having stayed at St. Regis hotels in Macau and Bali, I had great impressions of their breakfasts—whether it was the ambiance, food, or service, everything was excellent! However, I didn't expect the breakfast at Shanghai Jing'an St. Regis to be the worst among the three hotels 😓 The environment is nice, but the table settings lack the refinement expected of the St. Regis name! The food selection is limited, and the taste and presentation of the dishes are below standard. Only the egg white omelet was decent. A delightful breakfast can elevate a hotel's reputation, but it's a pity for such a beautiful hotel! 🥹
