Shanghai | The PuLi Hotel and Spa

My most frequented hotel in Shanghai. It's closest to my company, so if I work overtime until very late, I just stay there. The room facilities are a bit old, and the restaurant Phenix is average, but the cocktails at Long Bar are pretty good. I've stayed in both the Deluxe and Classic room types, and I think they all have a view of Jing'an Temple, just from slightly different angles. The suites are okay in terms of size, about 80-plus square meters, which is quite spacious. The location is great, and it's convenient to go anywhere. For someone like me who has a habit of burning incense, it's so convenient to just walk out the door along the road behind Reèl to Jing'an Temple, which takes a maximum of ten minutes. After burning incense, I go to Kerry Center to eat at O Mills, which is basically my daily morning routine. Thanks to Jing'an Park, the view from the gym and pool windows is excellent, and it really has the artistic concept of a great hermit hiding in the city. The spa is also worth a try. The hotel service isn't particularly attentive, but there are no major mistakes. Many of the staff are Shanghainese, and it's nice to hear them speak the Shanghai dialect. If the rooms could be renovated, the furniture repaired, and the dust wiped more carefully during cleaning, it would be my favorite hotel.
