Once I arrived in Shanghai, I had the energy to continue exploring, and the first thing I did was visit the Bund at night. I strolled along the Bund, admiring the modern skyscrapers of Lujiazui across the Huangpu River. Iconic buildings such as the Oriental Pearl Tower and the Shanghai Tower shone brightly in the night sky, where modernity and history blend perfectly. Walking into the alleyways, I felt the everyday life of old Shanghai. Colorful clothes were hung on both sides of the narrow streets, and the aroma of food wafted from the small shops along the street. I found a small shop and tasted authentic pan-fried buns and spare ribs with rice cakes. The familiar taste instantly evoked childhood memories. I went to Tianzifang, which is full of art and creativity, with various specialty shops, galleries, and cafes. I wandered through it, admiring the exquisite handicrafts and feeling the artistic atmosphere. In Shanghai, you can experience the prosperity and convenience of a modern metropolis, as well as the retro charm of old Shanghai. Whether shopping in the bustling commercial streets or strolling through the quiet alleys, I could feel the unique charm of this city, allowing me to experience a different kind of relaxation and freedom on this trip.
