The Lu Xun Memorial Hall in Shanghai is a national first-class museum, housing over 80,000 items. Premier Zhou Enlai inscribed the name of the museum, which is the first character memorial hall established after the founding of New China. Lu Xun (September 25, 1881—October 19, 1936), originally named Zhou Zhangshou, later renamed Zhou Shuren, courtesy name Yushan, later changed to Yucai, was a famous Chinese writer, thinker, revolutionary, educator, artist, calligrapher, and democratic fighter. He was an important participant in the New Culture Movement and one of the founders of modern Chinese literature. "Lu Xun" was the pen name he used when he published "A Madman's Diary" in 1918, and it is also his most widely known pen name. Lu Xun made significant contributions in many fields, including literary creation, literary criticism, ideological research, literary history research, translation, introduction of art theory, introduction of basic science, and collation and research of ancient books. 🌈Highlights: ✅The exhibition is based on Lu Xun's manuscripts, documentary photos, and relics.
