Shanghai Museum East Hall: Ancient Chinese Ceramics

The Ancient Chinese Ceramics Exhibition is located on the 3rd floor of the Shanghai Museum East Hall, displaying more than 570 ceramic relics from ancient times to the Yuan Dynasty, about half of which are on display for the first time. The Ancient Chinese Ceramics Exhibition is divided into 7 sections by time, from ancient times to the Yuan Dynasty, displaying ceramics from different periods and regions in China. Highlights of the exhibition include pottery from the Neolithic Age, pottery and primitive porcelain from the Shang and Zhou Dynasties, ceramics from the Qin, Han, Three Kingdoms, Jin, and Northern and Southern Dynasties, ceramics from the Sui, Tang, and Five Dynasties, and ceramics from the Song, Liao, Jin, and Yuan Dynasties.
