If you didn't see it in person, check out the "People's 'Mirror' World - Photography Exhibition"!

In the cool autumn breeze and the fragrance of osmanthus, the southern section of the Shanghai Expo Cultural Park officially opened on September 20, 2023. With the opening of the northern section on December 31, 2021, the entire park is now open to the public. At the same time, the "People's 'Mirror' World" Park Photography Exhibition also opened. The Shanghai Expo Cultural Park Photography Competition and Collection, organized by Shanghai Land (Group) Co., Ltd., was launched in October 2023, attracting the attention and participation of many enthusiastic citizens and tourists. The youngest participant was 9 years old, and the oldest was 76 years old. Citizens and tourists responded enthusiastically and submitted their works, using their cameras to capture the memories of the Huangpu River and the important trajectory of Shanghai's modern civilization development, showcasing the changes in this area during the industrial period, the Shanghai World Expo period, and the Shanghai Expo Cultural Park period. This exhibition features 150 selected works from 13,816 submissions. The exhibition is divided into three parts: the period of the No. 3 Shanghai Steel Factory, the period of the Shanghai World Expo, and the period of the construction and operation of the Shanghai Expo Cultural Park. The photography exhibition is set in the "abdomen" of the Twin Hills, where the memory of Shanghai's industrial civilization flows. The exhibition hall has three floors, and the ongoing "People's 'Mirror' World" - Shanghai Expo Cultural Park Photography Exhibition features the bustling production of the original site "No. 3 Shanghai Steel Factory," the dazzling lights of the Shanghai World Expo, the bustling construction of the park, and the popularity during its operation. Many tourists are so focused on climbing the Twin Hills that they overlook the photography exhibition, which is a pity. The photographs remind us of the Huangpu River twenty years ago. However, many of the scenes can only be appreciated through the photographs, as I didn't see them in person! Or what I saw was far less beautiful and enticing! Alas, it's all the fault of the cameras. Haha!
