Shanghai! A budget hotel worth a second visit! It's so nice to stay here!

Exploring the Moxy Shanghai Hongqiao NECC A few days ago, I only booked one night at the Courtyard by Marriott Shanghai Hongqiao, so I checked in at the Moxy Shanghai Hongqiao NECC on November 21 to start my hotel exploration trip. As a young and trendy brand under Marriott, Moxy is different from traditional hotels. It focuses on creating a young, personalized, and fun accommodation experience for young people who love to travel and pursue new experiences, rather than business people. The hotel's iconic pink exterior is very eye-catching, and the colorful lobby has a Street Fighter arcade machine, which instantly brings back childhood memories for those born in the 1980s. The hotel is in a great location, 15–20 minutes from Hongqiao Airport T2, Hongqiao Railway Station, Panlong Tiandi, and the National Exhibition and Convention Center. The price is about CNY 300–400 on weekdays, and normally requires about 10,000 points for redemption. The room type I stayed in this time was a king room on a high floor, with an area of 25 square meters. Although it was not upgraded, the room was brand new overall. The hotel service is unique, with the check-in area like a bar, and the staff are enthusiastic, offering two welcome drinks of your choice and welcome points. There are many highlights in the room facilities. The hair dryer is excellent, with no need to keep pressing the button and strong wind power, which is very friendly to people with long hair. The mini bar items are free to enjoy, showing the hotel's generosity, and I only took some Oishi snacks. The bath products are not labeled with a brand, but they seem to be produced by Nirvae, and are packaged in Moxy's bright pink. Other facilities include a self-service laundry room and gym, providing convenience for guests. Overall, the Moxy Shanghai Hongqiao NECC, with its unique charm, brings a different accommodation experience to young travelers and is worth a try.
