Compared to the last time I stayed at IFC and Shangri-La, my first impression of the hotel was that transportation was inconvenient and it was really far away from the subway station. Of course, the hotel is also aware of this geographical problem and provides free limousine transportation within 2 kilometers. This time, the hotel arranged a Mandarin River View Room with a view of the Pearl Tower. The view was blocked by the building in front. The space in the room is okay. It is Mandarin Oriental after all, so it is within the acceptable range. Welcome fruits and festive cakes were placed on the table. The bathroom has a walk-in rainforest shower and an oversized round bathtub that takes a lot of time to fill. The curtains and screens are all electric; the wooden curtains in the bathroom are also operated by buttons. The breakfast is good, with a rich variety of food, including raw porridge and noodles. There are just a lot of people, so you need to queue up to get in after nine o'clock.
