ShanghART Moves Away from West Bund

These works serve as 'evidence,' selected from each exhibition and project held at ShanghART's West Bund space over the past ten years since its opening in 2015, 'witnessing' the history of the space through the timeline. Additionally, the exhibition reviews nearly a hundred important exhibitions held by ShanghART artists at the West Bund space and globally over the past decade, gathering more than 40 related publications and representative visual materials. Mist considers himself a viewer nurtured by the West Bund Center. Back then, due to its proximity to home, he often wandered around the West Bund Art Center, starting with viewing the river scenery, then the unique landscape of small houses and green trees, and finally slowly getting into exhibitions, learning about the knowledge behind them, writing exhibition impressions, photoshopping and recombining exhibits, and eventually making exhibition viewing a hobby.
